DISASTER RELIEF MINISTRY
Ministry Leader: Ray Graham
First Baptist Matthews Disaster Relief Ministry meets the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of people during natural disasters. Providing meals, cleaning up debris, and repairing homes are a few of the ways we respond to a disaster. Periodic volunteer training sessions on mass feeding, recovery, clean-up and emergency child care will be required for certain types of work.

MEN'S PRISON MINISTRY
Ministry Leader: Patsy Knight
This ministry serves three different men's prisons on alternating Sundays throughout the month. Ministry teams go into the prison to lead worship, pray, and share Jesus Christ with the inmates. 

BOSTON CHURCH PLANTS
Ministry Leader: Jim Brunson
First Baptist Matthews has been working through SBC-North American Mission Board's "SEND" Church Planting and Evangelism Strategy since 2016. The emphasis is taking the gospel back into inner cities of America and Canada through church plants.

First Baptist Matthews will take teams at least once a year to Boston to work with these church plants. We will also support them through prayer & donations.
